Better PRICE to use pee pads or dog litter? Hello everyone! I decided to train my pup to go inside. I'm considering using pee pads or dog litter. Do you know if one is more cost effective? I figure if there is any savings to one method, then 15 or more years of savings should figure into my decision. -I pick up my puppy in over a week. He'll be around 16-17 weeks as I wanted him to stay with his mom longer to learn from her (particularly potty skills). He is using pee pads but in my visits with him I have witnessed him pee on a blanket. Since there was no pee pad around I did not correct his behavior but I am hopeful that with my correction, treats, and praise he will be just fine. I am just stuck on choosing my potty solution. (I ruled out the grass because of negative reviews concerning the smell of fake grass or the dead arrival of real grass pads.) |
I use potty pads for my Bella. I have no experience with the litter, but if your dog is already pad trained, it will probably be easier to keep him properly trained. The pads aren't very expensive if you buy them in bulk. I get 150 at a time from Petsmart. |
And they can piddle on them a couple of time so they get used to their scent on them and keep goin back to it :animal-pa |
