So sweet, but so evil! I have a Yorkie Delilah shes 6. When she was a puppy she would go everywhere with me, she is one of 4 dogs. She is NOT the dominant dog, although she does struggle with that from time to time.
I have sought help from a trainer in the past b/c whe have moved 3 times in the last 4 years and I just wanted some tips on making her feel secure in our new house.
The key problem is her possiveness of me, and her dislike of my fiancé. He has NEVER mistreated her, she's never been mistreated, she super spoiled, but not too spoiled to where it would cause issues. She's afraid of EVERYTHING which is something I'm working with, but her behavior towards my fiancé is something beyond any of the training I am versed in. I work with rescues and have a good amount of training in behavior issues, but my Fiancé has gone out of his way to warm up their relationship... She growls, barks, lunges at him tries to bite him, and has bit him, when he even enters the same room as we are in let alone approaches him.
She also picks fights with my other dogs, but I have training on how to deal with that. My main concern is with her behavior towards my fiancé.
Honestly I just want her to feel safe and secure, and be a dog. I would appreciate any advice! |
