Urinating inside the house only My yorky is 4 month and not fully trained to go in the pad. Now that the winter is over we are starting to go for walks. We are walking for long periods but he ( his name is Kike) will not pee or poo. As soon as we go inside he will run and do his business and only about 75% of the time in the pad. Somehow he also goes in the corners of the pad. What can I do for first to teach him to go out side.second to pee and poo in the middle of the pad? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you, |
Welcome to YT! You should really try to watch him.. when you see him sniffing around that usually means they are going to go potty- that is when you take them outside and tell them to potty- don’t give up on this, wait for him to go. When he does make sure you tell him Good boy and give him something yummy!! Doing this over and over he will learn he needs to go outside. Try to get a schedule down, watch what time he is going poo, that way you can plan for around that time to take him outside. There isn't much you can do to make him go in the middle that I know of… however I have heard the pad holders help them go on the pad, versus on the corner or next to the pad. |
