mozzys mom | 03-24-2013 08:21 PM | Maybe he read your previous posts like my Mozzi did and decided he better clean up his act a bit. LOL. They ARE great little snugglers. I'm so glad he used the pee pad. Furniture is not cheap. I've thrown out several pieces because of dogs. I now have a very cheap leather sofa from Big Lots, of all places. I couldn't be happier. I constantly wipe it down w/disinfectant or pet stain remover. It gets piddled on, slobbered on, covered w/dog hair, spotted w/intact male juices (Ick!), but I never sweat it. I just wipe it down and it looks great. Cushions are shot, but it still looks good and DOESN'T SMELL. When it's finally had it, I'll buy another. One less thing to stress about and it keeps me from resenting my babies.
After being able to vent on this forum and get so much advice and support I was able to mellow out and of course he is now behaving so much better. As a groomer, I know full well that dogs react to our energy. I know what to do, I just got totally overwhelmed. Sounds like you've got your situation under control. You know your guy really well. Trial and error, new ideas, support from others. That's how I've solved my dog challenges over the years. Sounds like you are doing the same. With that record snowfall, maybe you'll have a snow day tomorrow and can do more snuggling! |
