How many of ur kids talk!? As you may know Rome is my only child! I love him more than myself. Since its usually Rome and I and occasionally my boyfriend. I dont want to seem like the crazy lady but I always talk to Rome so when he was about 4mo he started barking when I talked to him lol, so now one of his commands are "talk rome" Does anyone else have a slightly off the wall trick their child does? Or does he/she talk? |
:animal-paOh, Tibbe talks to me all the time. That picture of him in my avatar is a frequent daily sight of my little one in this house. It seems he really thinks I understand his communications and I usually can guess what it is he's trying to tell me from just knowing him and his daily requirements so well - and he stops the talking when I hit on the right thing. Plus, he has different barks for most things. Go outside, it's a stare/gentle bark/rollover combination. Go outside to play with his Corgi-buddies next door, Rusty and Gracie - it's high, piercing barking and spinning in fast circles. Hungry? It's kind of wu-wu-wu-woof barking with his muzzle pointed upward. It's somebody at the door? He's barking deep and loud from the time he sails off the couch or bed and all the way to the door, running back and forth between the door and me until I get there, barking seriously like a regular dog. Wants to play? He's play-bowing and dog-laughing, followed by short, choppy little cute barks and jumping on me! :animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa He's always so pleased that he told me what he wanted and I responded. He thinks I understand every bark! And I pretty well do. :) |
Its amazing how we think we know our furkids and in return they know us as well, its the samething with a Rome he has diff barks for everything. Its crazy that they start to understand words that we say and I wish I knew wat he does say when he barks, talk about awsome! |
That's really sweet! You should get that on video so we can all see that. I've tried to teach all of our girls to speak but the only ones that seemed to pick this up are Mica and Shayla. They will bark when I speak. It's a good thing though because after they learned to speak I taught them what QUIET means. ;) |
Lol thats soooo funny! I have thousands of videos I just need to figure out how to post them! All of them are on my cell, but its saved in my Sim card, I think all I have todo is download my Sim to a computer then ill be able to post them. Oh yayy im so excited for you guys to see its just such a joy to watch em! |
My last yorkie was so clever. for most of his life it was just him and three cats. after a while I noticed he was making a grunting sort of sound when on my lap having a fuss. I was a bit worried at first.. then i realized he'd just taught himself to purrr lol x |
Lol omg way to funny. Yes now thats something I never heard of purring yorkie! He must have thought he was a cat instead. Rome thinks hes human, (for the most part I let him think it). |
Scoobers does not talk on command unless you count closing the slider and leaving him outside rhe command...he will say I love you when steaming up the glass though. |
Penny talks all the time! Often it isn't even barking, it's like: "rrrrah. rrrrah rah. rah rah rrrrrr." One time when we were taking her on a walk, an elderly woman who was power-walking behind us caught up to us. She said, "What a talker! She sure has a lot to say!" I'm glad that even strangers can tell that she's just talking and not barking just to bark. Mishka is only 12 weeks old. So far she has been a very quiet dog. She only barks or talks when she plays. I like the quiet, but I would also like it if she learned to talk more. |
Talk? Yes. Shut up? Never. |
Haa haa u gotta love it though. Im glad Rome does not yapp all day long but sometimes he never stops talking lol so it does get annoying at times. When im on the phone hes playing barking and.what not then when in trying to talk to him hes all pooped out ha ha. |
