does your baby use their peepad more than once? I think the lightbulb finally came on all of a sudden for my Emy and she has been peeing on her peepad everyday. I change it each time cause she lays on the peepad and drags her toys over to it also. I'm going through 20 peepads a day seems like!!! Well at least its not on the floor. Do any of yours go (pee) on their peepad more than once? And if so do they pee over the same spot or do they find a clean spot. My pee pads are 23" x 16" I think. She even put a poop down on it, just after I had put a new one down at 2:00 am this morning, I turned around and there was a little tootsie roll, so I used two up in 5 minutes, she usually pees on her peepad and while I'm changing it, poops on the kitchen floor. I was thinking that next time she gets me up at 2:00 am to pee on her peepad, just to leave it there till morning, wonder if it will dry on top (it has the blue lining). I don't want to use washable ones, cause then I think she will pee on her blanket...or start to pee on any material thats soft thinking its a peepad. |

cedric will pee in a new spot each time. if theres a poop i take that up. he will not pee in the same spot twice..i actually use four pads because he like to lift his leg so i tape two to the wall and this has helped alot with him not marking in the house anymore (after being neutered as well) and two on the floor and it also givse more space so once a day x 4! |
Morgan will use the puppy pads twice and then he just looks at me like are you going to change this or not ? |
Romeo uses one pee pad twice. I use a tray which will take 1/2 the pad (the other 1/2 is tucked under). When he wets one side, I fold over and pull the dry 1/2 up. Then it's in the trash and a new one comes out. I go through about 10 pads a day because I do not want him stepping on a pee spot and trekking it through the house. I purchase Clear Quest Puppy Pads (100 per box) from freshpets.com. |
:)my ollie can go out thru doggie door, as i say a normal dog should, but my baby needs to have pee pads or he will pee on the rug, usually same area. he will pee numerous times, usually the 4 corners & then i will change. if he poops usually can just pick up with a napkin & flush. he loves to go outside but not as much as my other dog, i think he is afraid to go out @ night & prefers to have me with him. goodluck, the pads are expensive & i think they would prefer fresh everytime, so try not to spoil too much & think your baby will get used to multiple use |
I only have one dog I usually change her paper daily, but if I don't she is OK with it. She does go in a new place each time. I do pick up the poo and flush it. She does have several papers in the house to choose from - bathroom and basement. She does love to "christen" a fresh paper:D |
ZoE pees on the same pad multiple times. I actually put down two pads at a time, so her potty area is bigger, that way she doesn't miss and she has room to walk around on them, sniff, circle, and find her perfect spot. I pick up the tootsie rolls with TP and flush them right away, morning & night. She gets new pads put down every morning. |

She uses the pad till I feel it's yucky. lol So it gets changed daily. And her poopies get picked up with toilet paper and flushed. :) |
