I just really think she needs more attention be it walks more playtime or both. And don't be sad she wants to sit on your lap that's a wonderful problem. That means she wants to be with you. Yorkies can be clingy that is one trait we love about them. And she is a puppy she is going to chew. You need to find a toy or a safe bone she can direct that chewing to. And I really do believe you can train her biting you is not okay It takes time .So take a deep breath relax and so will she. As I write this my Riley is scratching me because he wants on my lap. see the walking thing is kind of hard to do since it's been hot out. and too I don't think that she like the heat to much. but we do play and she run around here. I have thought that she might be a little bit bored too. but the lady at petsmart said she been doing this for 10 years or longer something like that. I will check out the link when I have more time. but the thing is I just can't find a good trainer around here. when I look online lot of the trainer are up north like 5 hours or longer away. mom was thinking about checking out petco training class if we could find out how much it was. but the site never give a prices for it. but I do have one book that said yorkie on it and it's the history of them and tell some other thing in it too. and it does have a dvd with it. I have started but for some reason I just stop watching it not to sure if has to do with the computer going off or the power or something else stopped me that day. I just need to find out where I did with it and start watching it again and see if that just don't help us out either we do need all the help that we can get this days.

I don't mind her on my lap I love it when she want on there. I just don't like the bitting sometime it can hurt really bad and she wont let u move any where. and her listening is other thing I don't like either.

The link I gave you to dog star daily will teach you a lot of basic things you can do to help your dog. You don't have to go any where to study it. There are all kinds of videos that show you what to do and plenty of good reading material to teach you good concepts in training. If you are not consistent with your training and do it regularly your dog is not going to change. It is up to you and your mom to teach her. Puppies do not naturally know what you are saying. It takes lots of practice to teach them.

It has been very hot here too. I get up early while it is still cool out and walk my dog then at about 7:45pm we go for another walk. She lays down and goes to sleep a very tiered dog at night. We walk more than that when the weather is nice. I don't like walking but Gracie needs to do it so I make myself do it. I also taught her to play fetch indoors. I have a few of the small sized Chuckit balls for her. They are the 2" size. She loves to chase those things. It's good indoor exercise that we do on rainy days. I don't leave them down for her to play with. I put them in a small bucket that she can't get to because I don't want her to try to chew them.

I will check out the dog star daily and what it said if now I can find the link that u give me. when I thought about walking her it was like 98 and it was still to hot to do it at 7 something. and when it got cooler out it was way to dark to do it. but it's not like I am not going to walker just have to find the best time for us since we both could use the walking. but I will try and see what we got around her to play with to get more of a workout indoors.

What treats do you use to train with?

different onces since sometime she get tired of one kind and wont take it anymore so we have to give her a different one.

I have never head of a dog getting tired of chicken. Even if you use some all chicken lunch meat your dog will love it. If she just smells it she will come running to you.

not with mine she is a pick one. there are some trets that are chicken flavor and she wont take it most of the time.

No, you need real meat. I don't blame her for not liking many of the dog treats they sell in stores. They usually are full of very unnatural ingredients. You need some real meat.

we have tryed real meat before not all the time she will go for that when we are doing the training work. she think of the real meat is dinner time and she wont work for she will do what she want for the meat. but i can try again and see if she will work for it.

I've noticed if I have mini training sessions (5-10minutes) 3x a day by the 3rd day Jaxson catches on! We have been doing this with getting him to walk with me on the leash, & to sit, stay, come! He's a smart pup & hope the above advice offers some kind of help. Good luck!

she been doing something but not everything. but she does go back on few things. she just want to pop every where else then her puppy pad this days or eat it for that matter. but we are still working on it.
