Bambina is too wild for me Bambina at 4 months old is wild for me. It is very hard for me to train her when I have to take care of Eddy at the same time. Bambina always follows Eddy and picks up bad habbits from Eddy. For example, Eddy would bark when the door bell rings then Bambina will just learn that and bark at every little noises. She will bark at my niece when they are running or playing. How do you guys have more than 1 dog. This is insane! |
My two girls are the same way...Sailor used to never bark but she quickly learned to do what sister does, even if she has no idea what is really going on!! She will just bark whenever Magic barks...they do tend to pick up on each others habits!! We just take things on day at a time, esp. with the potty training...as she gets older she should calm down and settle into a routine!! |
I love puppies when they are wild . |
My puppies have wild days....but they also have calm days. They learn the bad habits from each other...but they also learn the good stuff too. Maya was so much easier to wee wee pad train because she followed Deb's lead. I have so much fun watching them play with each other :) |
Yes, having a"pack" creates it's own set of problems but the benefits faroutweigh the problems imo. Use the bad habits as a way to train good ones. When they barks say "speak" and then gradually when they bark you can stop them by saying "no speak" or "shhhh". It is really a good thing that they bark to alert you but they shoudl stop when you ask them to. It just takes trainign and repetition and persistence but it is possible. |
Im working very hard to teach Bambina to stop barking. She just won't stop. I would pick her up and tell her no or use food to distract her but she just wants to bark. She will bark at anyone whose walking away or from behind. I hope she will grow up being calm or nice. The last thing I want is a mean dog. |
