Litter training??? Does or has anyone here down this? Im having issues with Sophie, she pees and poos in the house still...same spots usually. I take her out often, right after play, 10 min after meals, every half hour to hour. and she still goes inside. Yes she WILL go outside...but she also still goes indoors. Ive heard of others litter training...is it worth doing? does it help? and how do you go about it? |

hey , yeah litterbox training works great. that is what i use for my boy however i do not use litter. i bought a rascal dog litterbox which uses a grate. oscar did not like the grass. www.rascaldoglitterbox.com if interested you can order one minus the grass. my boy really likes it, uses it 100% |
This is what I'm trying when I get my puppy in June, its called the 'puppy apartment'....it looks like a great way to do it...you can check it out at their website... Modern Puppies - Potty Training a Puppy, I got the small. Hope it works..its got a video on the website that is very cute, and it posted on youtube also. |
I was using the Purina Second Nature Doggie Litter Box with peepee pads instead of Litter... Tanks to Oscar's Mom, I bought the "Big Squirt', which has 9" sides!! I took the grate out of it and threw it away and use just peepee pads in it. It is FABOULOUS!!!! I have to keep some pads underneath of it hanging out a little at the opening, because Riley has a tendancy to occassionally have one leg outside of it and one leg inside of it.... but other than that he uses it 100% :) The Rascal Dog Litter Box Company offers two litter box sizes. |
