Diapers ? Im not sure if this is true or if I read wrong somewhere.. but has anyone ever heard of someone keeping diapers on their babies? I mean, like reg. diapers, baby diapers and just changing it or whatever as you would do on skin-babies. I hope this doesn't sound weird, but I KNOW I read where a lady did this and she really preferred it.. as its no accidents and if you are already use to skin-baby diapers, then you can do these. lol |
I'm sure the premie diapers would fit...you would just need to cut a hole for the tail. |
Yes. There are diapers designed for dogs out there. We haven't try it out yet but have seen it at PetSmarts. Maybe somebody else can give you better idea as how well it works. |
LOL!!! I bought some pampers today, the kind for babies, to use on Bailey and Charlie for belly bands!!! IT WORKS!!!!! The belly bands I bought at petsmart were rubbing them raw and were twenty bucks each, and I had to wash them everyday just about because even though I used the thick pads in them, they smelled like urine! The pampers are great cause I can just throw them in the trash! I don't put them on like a baby though...I put them on just to cover their little wee wees, kind of like side ways like they wear the belly bands..does that make sense??? I can post a picture tomorrow if you'd like to see what I'm talking about. I just thought if I put them on the regular way and cut a hole for the tail, if they pooped in them I'd have to wash the poo poo off their little hinnies...I din't want to do that, LOL! They do work! I think I read it on here too...Bailey and Charlie weigh about four to five pounds and I bought the newborn size but because I put it on side ways they were too small. I bought the size three today and they work good because it overlaps and they stay on good :) |
I also want to add that putting them on sideways doesn't take care of the poo poo accidents..but IMO those are so easy to clean up...it's the marking and the smell of urine that is the hardest to deal with...and we just had our carpets cleaned. I wish I could remember who's idea this was because I think it is brilliant :) It's cheap, 40 diapers for five bucks (I got an off brand), convenient (I love that), and easy!!!! No washing...just throw them away!!! |
Great Idea Wow- we have 2 boys and Milo is pretty good about asking to pee outside but as the days get colder he askes less- he can't stand to be cold:) He will sit in frint of the fireplace till he pants then may move away and when the heat comes on he is right by a vent- Max is our little guy- 4lbs and he hates it outside- he is neurotic about it- whines and scrathes at the door as soon as he is done- and he never asks to go we have to put him out-- we use belly bands on both boys- bought lke a dozen from someone on here from like Texas I think-- my wife is great about laundering them and all but the diaper idea is not bad- I bet you could buy bulk at sams or costco cheaper yet-will have to look into it- Milo does not have accidents too often but Max does- I was thinking aobut trying to litter train but they are almost a yr old now- seems like it might be hard but who knows- |
I don't know anyone but I used to put diapers on a goat named Boo (he was born on Halloween :D ) that I hand bottle raised last year bc he lived in the house with us and he (and all goats) was impossible to potty train! :p But I bet they would fit.. Oh yea.. lol My boyfriends sister put an "adult diaper" on Lulu (their bulldog) bc she was bleeding on the furnature.. She looked SUPER DUPER silly! :animal36 |
