Congratulations on your new pups. Here is a list of good foods: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...e-samples.html BTW what's with all the shorthand? a little bit of an eye sore :p |

Welcome to YT :) I would contact the person you will be getting your furbabies from, ask what they are currently being fed, and have the same on hand for consistency in feeding when you bring them home. |

Best of luck with the puppy when you get it. I can sense your excitement and it reminds me of when I was a new owner. It is such a wonderful time. Enjoy those puppy kisses and take lots of pictures because they dont stay little long enough before you know they are adults and you are enjoying them in a different way. |
well, my really good vet said to me when i asked her if i should give my puppy milk; what!!!??? you want them to vomit? and have diarrhea ???? and when i asked her if my puppy should get people food she said, what!!!??? you want more vet bills to spend you money on like for cavaties, and all the problems humans get like diabetes and intestinal problems??? i said no. then she said, well, then just give them DRY dog food (so it doesn't stick in their teeth and rot them) and water (so it doesn't give cavaties)....and ONCE IN GREAT WHILE, a tiny little treat AWAY from the table; but nothing sweet and NEVER CHOCOLATE.....(my dogs are very healthy and not one ounce over-weight, and very happy and active and don't EXPECT treats!) |
