Bark bark bark...
 

Ugh! Can anyone please comment on how they trained their baby/babies to not bark at everything they see / hear!!! I live on 2nd floor condo and dex just barks and barks !!

Have you tried pennies in a can? You shake it when they bark.

Our trainer said to spray water at their butt enough to get their attention. And say their name and STOP or QUIET.
I have tried this and I think it might work.....definitely got his attention. Then I just picked up the spray bottle and he ran and quieted down. Soooo maybe.

I need help with this too! My girl has gotten bad about it the last 2 days. We finally tried pennies in the can today and she shut up quickly lol

I posted the same (HELP) for barking about a month ago.. Rascal is really getting bad about it. I havent tryed the pennys but we do the water. he just whines and runs till he gets away than runs threw the rest of the house ..every window barking non stop! it is ear piercing too!!! he has got to were he will stand in front of me and do it when im on the phone(like he is bored) or if some one pulls in drive he goes crazy! i cant even open the door to talk ..he will not stop! Some times if i can catch him..i have a small crate in living room i will put him in it.. than he will stop. i was reading on internet the other day to try and put them on a pillow or a bed in the living rm.(something they like) and have some treats and a leash on them. She would lead him to the pillow.. tell him to stay than give him treat. Went over that a few times than she would start backing up slow telling him to stay(still with leash on) and than call him to her. Than go over it again and again . Than she had someone come.. knock on the door and she opened the door and he stayed on pillow till the guest got in and she told him to come! who knows...:confused: im gonna try it! Thats for when someones at the door but i do know Rascal will stop it the other times if i keep saying..do you want to go in your pen? and i will put him in there!

Thanks for the suggestions. I will had to try the penny suggestion. I have tried the water bottle before and he just LOVED the water lol. I would spray him on the butt and say NO BARK in a stern voice and he would just run around the house at top speed with his tail wagging and coming back for more! I even tried squirting him on fine spray in the face and saying no and he just opened his mouth and try to drink the water, haha . He's a mess and it is driving me (and I'm sure ) my neighbors INSANE!
His bark is very piercing/Shrill!

I am going to try the pennies in a can...Moses drives me nuts when he sees someone outside or if someone is at the door!
