Yeah ^^, That was just some huge misunderstanding Im not so good at english I can say wrong words sometimes. But all I wanted was to ask how this fence works and how that had worked for people. |
I'm done too... but do want to send a big hug and Thank You to Yorkietalkjilly for all her thoughtful, helpful, concrete, and well written advice. To many others who posted, it does not help to be sarcastic, mean spirited, vague, or to do name calling. I am very new to this. I love my Yorkies. Many of the remarks hurt deeply, but I persevered because I wanted to learn. It paid off, because I believe my Yorkies are as smart as Jilly's, and I believe I can perhaps make up for my lack of experience and knowledge about these little dogs with kindness, consistency, and patience. Again, thank you Jilly... I wish I knew you in person and perhaps you could coach me thru this. |
I'm glad people come on here to ask questions. More than half the time people do not get treated how they should. I think it is better to come on here and ask a question and try to find research than just using something they aren't sure of. We really need to try to be more open and respectful. You will catch more flies with honey than vinegar! Fido- In my eyes you did the right thing, Esp knowing that you are from a different part of the world, people don't always understand things. I will apologize if anyone was rude to you or personally hurt your feelings. |

I just think people need to read the post and not read "into" the post. |
We have a fence and we live on a golf course so as soon as Bailey could get around she was chasing after those golf carts from in the fence(and still does):) she likes to protect the territory. But we noticed one day after Bailey was outside for about 5 minutes by herslef, we see no Bailey. We call her name, no response. Then I see her little pink harness shining in the light out on the golf course! Shes over by the pond sniffing away! It was a long run to go get her too, and then ofcourse she thought it was a game. After laser pointer and treets we managed to get her back in the yard. So we decided that this was not going to go on any longer and we bought chicken wire and secured it around the fence on the bottom and top so she cant get out. THAT GOT HER! She has never tried to get out again. But refering to the question, i dont suggest an electric fence for the tiny babes! |
