Not sure what us going on with my baby molly? We have been doing awesome with potty training her to go outside, she sometimes tells us other times we just take her out frequently and it has seems to work fine till the last 2 days. She goes out and plays lounges whatever she wants and comes inside runs right to the carpet for #1&2. Happened 4 times yesterday and 5 today, idk what's going on. This Morning we got up I took her outside she was out for 20 min came inside and peed the biggest puddle I've ever seen her pee then while I was cleaning up that mess and pooped right after coming I side....grrrr idk what's going on....advice, help, anythng?.for the sake of me and Molly lol |
She is 27weeks, and until now had maybe one inside accident a week. |
Training regression happens sometimes. We think we can give them a little more reign and then you find a little tootsie roll in the spare room. Little bit of background, when she goes potty outside do you give her a treat and make a major deal out of it? Do you yell at her when she goes potty inside? What are you using to clean up the messes inside? When you take her outside what do you say? |
Tell her it's potty time in this cursor lil voice she seems to like, if she goes outside she gets treat and lots of praise when coming inside but only if she pottied, no I neveryell at her I point my finger at her and say bad bad Molly and she lays with her head down, I use a spray I bought at pEtco that says neutralises odors onit on the places she has used as a toilet and scrub them. |
Cutsie* not cursor I just realized and it sounded mean and I'm def not a mean mommy, although the last couple days it's taking alot to not get mad, I know she's just a puppy but she was doing so good with potty training :( |
She should not be allowed to return inside until she has done what she needs to out there. If she just peed/ pooped outside she won't do it again upon returning in. |
