Potty training backsliding HELP My pups are backsliding. They are both pooping EVERYWHERE! Neither seems to remember to use the bell to go outside or to even care anymore, they just poop where ever they want. They are jumping off the bed at night and pooping. They leave the room out of sight for a second and poop. I'm frustrated and sick to death of this nasty habit. HELP!!! |

I would start from the beginning again with potty training...and confine them at night and anytime you can't watch them...good luck! |
Do they have a " poop" schedule? I know with Laci she only poops 1 time a day , Maybe 2 but that is rare. She gets up in the morning, we walk out the door before I even go to the bathroom myself. We go for a 15 minute or so walk and she pees about 4 times, she thinks she is a male dog and likes to mark everything. I take her outside every two hours unless I happen to notice she is sniffing around. She eats everyday at the same time 6 am and 5pm , she poops every night around 730-745 when we go for a 1/2 hour walk. I think walking makes her poop. I take her out again at 10 and thats it for the night. I keep a very tight schedule with feeding which makes it very easy for me to know exactly when she pees/poops. Start from the begining, take them out every hour or two. If they are pooping every night in the house Id say they need a good long walk before going in your bed. Its obvious they have to poop in the evening! |
I think they are sensing a change in their environment.... do not pass go, go back to square one. |
thanks guys. they are two years old. looks like crate training here we come. and i need to get out and do a walk once a day |
