How old is she? I wish I could be of help about how to stop her submissive peeing but the only thing I can suggest is that you put panties on her when you go visiting until you get it resolved. I am sure she just can't help herself. If she is a puppy she might outgrow it to some degree. I hope you can find some help. |

I'd like to know the answer to this as well, as we just realized Princess does it this past weekend. It's only a tiny bit, but happened two times, both as she was on someone jumping & kissing them hello. |
I wish you lots of luck with her. She is still young so I think if you start working on the problem now she has a good chance of outgrowing the problem. Here are some links to some websites that have some good information that might help. 8 Ways to Stop Submissive Urination in Dogs Can We Help You Keep Your Pet? wow thanx for the help :) really apprechate it :) thank you :):):D:D:p |
My Yorkie (7 months) and my dad's Yorkie (10 months) both do the same thing, but they don't show any sign of submissiveness while doing it. Even if we ignore them, they will dance around in so much excitement they spray pee everywhere. It's like they can't control it. One of them does submissively urinate, but only when scolded, and he shows submissive body language during it. This seems different, like it's excitement only that's causing it. |
Our Akita did this pretty bad and my friends GS did too. They both just eventually outgrew it. |
