breeding can u breed a 3 and half yorkie |
No............. Back in 2009 when you brought this puppy home you were told then that she should not be breed because she had a hernia which could be genetic. You really need to take the advice already given. Regardless of what your vet told you there is NEVER a good reason to breed a 3 1/2 dog. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...ml#post2668667 |
Age or weight? Regardless, it takes more than knowing age and weight to really get an understanding of if a dog should be bred. |

You've made two seperate threads on this question. So, I'll ask this question twice. Why hasn't this girl been spayed along with a hernia repair? |
3 1/2 legged yorkie perhaps? Jk |

I'm confused here... i went to check out all the threads this person has made... and they are asking newbie questions... why would you consider breeding if you know nothing about the breed. Mardelin has some of the best advice on here when it comes to breeding... I believe it was you Mardelin that commented on my thread? Convinced me to get Tikka spayed because I don't know enough about her history and there are SO many risks. And also she had a hernia which could be genetic, but you can't tell so she should NOT be bred as stated from everyone else. I'm confused why your posting about this again 2 years later? Have you STILL not gotten her spayed? Also what do you mean by 3.5 yorkie?? Although we probably wont hear back from you as seeing in your previous threads you don't reply, you just like to ask. |

Maybe he/she got a new puppy? :thumbdown |
just from reading this person's threads they dont seem to know the breed well enough to breed anyways... i really hope they don't plan on breeding either way :/ |
If you do not have the skill set to answer the question your self., then you should not be breeding. Go find a mentor and go learn then you will get the answer and know what is best for the dog. JL |
I just don't understand why you're even bothering to ask us questions like this if you're not going to respond. Plus, if you've asked before, you obviously know what everyone is going to say. Are you looking for someone to tell you you should? NOT gonna happen. And if you "trust" your vet, why are you asking us anyway? Your vet is WRONG, but it just seems silly and frankly (I never ever get mean on here to anyone) but it annoys me that people who have no clue what they are talking about would even consider breeding. WHY?? For what purpose?? To make money???? Visit your local shelter and look into all those sad, homeless eyes. The ONLY people who should ever be breeding dogs are those who are maintaining breeds and their bloodlines and are extremely knowledgable about all aspects or it. SPAY your dog! Ok, I'm done now:) |
