Puppy walks through poop... I realize it takes a while to potty train puppies so I am just looking for some suggestions here. My puppy will be 12 weeks on monday and I have only had her for 4 days. She is in a large xpen set up like a rectangle during the day and when she poops in it I guess she runs back and forth through it and it is everywhere!!! Should I set up the pen in a square shape that way she can poop in the corner and possibly have a better chance of stayingout of it? And when do they get particular about not wanting to get poop on them...I know our older dog tip toes around her poop in the yard. Thank you!! And suggestions are greatly appreciated!! |
so glad you asked! I have an 18 mo old female who is pee pad trained and does very well with it; however, when we leave her at home in her little play pen (only for up to a 2-3 hours at a time/day) she will poop in her play pen and pace around in it.... help!!! We can't understand why a completely potty trained dog does this. FYI - we did not have her as a young pup, we just got her in the past couple of months. Is this just anxiety? How can we help her? |
