Eddie wins trick contest! Woohoo, they had a pet day called Hogs and Dogs at the local Harley shop, and Eddie beat out 7 dogs to win the trick contest! I think he had to rely on the Cute Factor because we started off trying to do the sneeze trick, where I sneeze and he brings me a tissue. But he was so excited about all the other dogs and kids there, and he REFUSED to do it! It was supposed to be a one-trick contest, but I quickly led him through his High 10, High 5 and Low 5 routine, and people gave him the biggest round of applause, so he won. He just learned the Low 5 this week. I put him in a down and he puts his paw on my hand. Very cute, and it turns a simple High 5 trick into something a little more fun. His prize was an obedience class at the training center we attend, so that's $90! Can you tell I'm proud of him? :p |

Yay! I love the sneeze trick, even if Eddie 'blew' it, haha. Jackson probably would have too in that environment. Go Eddie! And what an AWESOME prize. I would seriously love to win an obedience class, that is too cool. The advanced high-5's sound awesome, very clever. Congrats Eddie! You da dog! |

Oh of course the Harley shirt had nothing to do with it! Haha! For some reason, I always pictured Eddie as as being a bit bigger... he looks so little in these pics, but way over the top on the cute, looking over at his Dad after putting his feet on your hand... how sweet is that??? Great prize too! (I guess everyone just thought you were sick when the Tissue Trick didn't work!) |

Aw, Congrats Eddie!!! and Mike-sounds like a fun time! I have seen the sneeze trick--it is really cute when he does it but I am sure it was just as cute when he refused to help an old man out too. ;) You can't go wrong with a yorkie. :p |
