help with introducing new pee pad tray Happy new year everyone, Duke likes to lift his leg when he pees so I have had to use cardboard/boxes to make a box around this pad so that the actual wall/floor doesn't get wet. However, I found this recently and thought it would be a great idea. Wee Wee On Target Trainer I bought it, put one of his pads (with a bit of his pee on it already) on the tray and he won't go near it. This morning, he had to go really bad, but just stepped on it, sniffed and stepped off. I praised him everytime he goes near it and on it but not sure what else to do. I'm at work now so will see how he does when I get home and more training tonite. Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, |
I am certainly no expert when it comes to training but maybe you should give him a couple of days to get used to the new tray? Anything new mine are usually leery of until it's been here a few days. |
thanks, he's been getting used to it and has been going there :) |
