Teething - HELP I have a two month old Yorkie, she's constantly biting me and anything else she can get her mouth on...When she's doing it in a stern voice I tell her "no" and tap her nose...But she still goes back to doing the same thing she was... Does anyone have any suggestions? |
Make sure she has lots of chew toys. Also if you are playing with her and she nips put her down and it lets her know that if she bites you will not play with her. |
I'm in the same boat! But Bella isn't nipping at me, she's chewing the furniture. What can I use that's safe to save our furniture? Yes, she has lots of chew toys, but I guess the wood taste's better. |
The only thing that I learned because my little one also likes wood is that if I unable to supervise him either in the kitchen or tethered to my waist then he needs to be in his playpen or crate.:) |
try bully sticks most yorkies seem to love em and they tire out from chewing. |
Continue with the firm "NO" and give her something she's allowed to chew on - Bully stick, himalayan chews, etc... She's still very young so give it time...she is most likely teething... |
