My dog and my cats.... Well actually JUST one of the three cats. I think he thinks he is a dog LOL...He will spend all day trying to get to the window[ which is impossible] and spend time with the cat....cleaning her, playing with her etc. ...The issue is he is still intact as we are waiting to see what his true coloring is. Both his parents have unique/rare coloring[ I don't remember the number off hand] and if he's really unique then we would like to stud him once and get one of those dogs as a companion, then have both nuetered. Any tips on a hormonal male dog and how to get him to simmer without crating him? We play fetch, fill his kong, have an everlasting treat toy, ropes, fuzzy kong things with legs etc....living room looks like I have a toddler. Right now all he cares about is this one cat who lives in the living room window. My other two hang out upstairs. I think he has bonded with her, but when she gets down he barks and she meows but doesn't run away...IT"S BIZARRE ...in all my rescue years I never saw this haha... So any help please. I didn't get sleep last night because of this...I work overnights so in the AM he was ready to go and barked all day. I am working now and off in a few and I don't want to be a zombie for work tomorrow. PLUS I work from home,,,,,,so I can't have him being a nut case haha As for housetraining, He has marked ONCE....that we know of....I am concerned about this too... Ok too much in one LOL Kim |
Bark! Meow! Bark! Meow! Bark! Bark! Ouch! I have a neutered Yorkie puppy (5 months old) who also barks at my cats and the cat will stop and stare at him. This has gone on for the 2 months I've had him. But, last night he and one of the cats slept on the bed at the same time with no barking (maybe he didnt's know the cat was on the bed?). Twice he has barked and gotten too close to the cat--ouch! |
