Move the pad and POOF! accident. Why is that? Why is it that I move Tyler's pad that is in the kitchen to another spot in the kitchen, so he can have the whole kitchen to lounge in and BAM!!! That apparently means pee and poo on the pad if you want to but you don't have to  The reason I don't want him in his xpen anymore is because the place where it goes in the kitchen attracts ants to his food. Any suggestions? It really is something everyday with these guys isn't it? Yet, we love them anyways  |
I've read that you need to move the pad ever so slowly. once trained in an area, they know that area to use. I've witnessed this first hand. :( But, it's not their fault. I've also done the moving of the pad slowly and it's work too. :) Look at it this way, they've learned and they are pottying where you wanted them to so that means they've learned something! Good luck and remember, they learn what we teach them. |

I would put down more pads. The larger the area, the bigger the attraction. When it's time for him to go, lead him to the new spot each time. |

He's only in the kitchen with the pads at night when we're asleep and when we're gone. Otherwise he goes outside (: But I will put out some more to see if that helps! Thanks!! |
Dogs do not genralize so if you move it you need to reteach it so ever so slow move it little by little or doe what someone else said make it a bigger area nd wean it to the new place. JL |
