Trouble Travelling in the car... Sadie is almost 2 and weighs 4 lbs She is healthy and well adjusted except when I take her in the car on the highway. Under 40 mph she is fine but when I get over that she jumps all over the place, shakes violently and pants. I'm afraid she's going to have a seizure or something! I heard that Bach's Rescue Remedy might be a solution so I am looking for some hands on reviews for anyone with experience with it. Any other experience wit this and suggestions are most appreciated. THANKS. |
Bailey is like this too - only not as extreme. It seems to occur when its just the two of us (me and Bailey)? However, when we all three travel together (Bailey, me and hubby) she acts just fine. Not sure I understand the difference - but its real. Hope others have some advice for you - and welcome to YT! |
Do you use a carseat for her or at least a harness that buckles into the seatbelt. It could be that when you reach higher speads she feels less secure (inertia on such a small body). If you don't use a carseat or buckle I would suggest one or at least use a travel crate that way she will feel more secure! Hope this helps. Jeri and Harley:aimeeyork |
