Never seen this show ever but I saw a preview and he DID look like a gigantic jerk! |
I figured this thread was coming too. I have to agree with everything being said about him. Absolutely absurd how rude, impolite, rough, and on and on this man is. He's on a huge power trip & calls himself a pro. There's really no training demonstated that amounts to anything. So the purpose of the show is.....????? Anyone got any guesses? I sure don't. |

I watched a couple episodes the other night. Oh my gosh, why do people listen to him? No touching your dog??? Yeah, right, whatever. I saw another "training" show a couple weeks back. Can't remember if it was on AP or another channel, but I didn't like it either. This trainer wanted to teach leave it. The dog was on a leash and he was to leave the tissue alone. They were setting the dog up so much so that the tissue was being waived not far from the dog's nose. Of course the dog is going to sniff it!!! Then when they touch it, they get jerk...hard. |

I made a complaint too. I enjoy hating him, but he is so rough with the poor doggies, someone is going to hurt theirs if they try his "methods". I do enjoy the thought of him getting bitten before the season is canceled. |

I want to complain too, even 'though I don't have cable t.v. lol :D...But based on what ya'll have said, the more complaints, the sooner there will be one less "toxic t.v." show on the airways...Sadly, some people that weren't raised in homes to love and train their animals in the proper way, may take his word as truth :eek: So what's this guy's name, so I can complain too??? |
I don't remember his last name. I've just been calling him 'that Brad person'. I'm sure if you mention his first name & show name 'In The Dog House' they'll know who you're talking about. That's what I plan to do. I think I'll call him 'that Brad person' when I write. : ) ...or may that Brad creep, or idiot, or something like that. Yup! We love hating this guy! |

Glad to see others are complaining too. I googled him and found lots of other people that don't like him either. everyone says the same things we are saying here. hopefully if enough people complain then his show will be canceled. |

i'll have to check this out!! i love Victoria the most, she's super good and she's helping me train Sadie from her shows, Sadie knows sit and down after only a few tries because i used the training Victoria did on tv and mocked it with the treats in my hand... i love Ceasar's book so far and feel like he isn't mean he's just maintaining discipline and trying to make people realize that we have dogs not human babies, they do need us, but they have different dog needs than we do as people... LOVE HIM this new guys sounds horrible about throwin out treats and SPRAY PAINTING WALLS??? WHATTT:confused::confused: i'll have to see when it's on and try it once and see what the fuss is all about with him, i'll probably be on tomorrow hating him too |

Seriously, you MET him? Is he as horrible in person as he is on the show?? I noticed he was Canadian, he dropped a "proegress" somewhere, as opposed to "prahgress". And I thought you Canadians were all so civilized. |

I'm watching a bit of this show now, and it makes me so mad every time I see it. I don't know why I watch it at all. I guess I can learn what NOT to do with Sophie. Victoria's methods have worked well so far and I'm sticking with them! |
Ugh, I cannot stand this guy. He is SUCH a tool. I feel so bad for his dogs, he's so anti-treats and toys. He probably makes them eat coal so as not to spoil them. HOWEVER, in 30 minutes of major hate, I did learn one tidbit - that dogs greet other dogs by licking the other dog's lips & eyes were probably taken away from their mother too soon. |

I hate this guy and this show. The way he treats the dogs and the way he snatches them with that stupid chain. What about dogs such as yorkies that could get a collapsed trachea. He yells at them but then says not to talk to your dog. They don't even show any real training just him being mean to dogs and taking away all there things. I treat train my dog and he has never snatched anything out of my hand or attacked a baby for a treat. I do not like him one bit. |
OMG, what was that all about? Like positive training will turn your dogs into evil, baby-attacking demons. So ridiculous. |
