Frisbee? Anyone successful in getting your yorkie to catch one? I got a small soft fabric type frisbee. While she likes it, she still hasn't caught it in the air with her mouth. She'll get it with her hands first, then put it down, then chew on it. Are yorkies just too small to do it? |
Awwww, how cute would that be? Lexi has a very small foam frisbee she runs with it:D Don't think she would catch it heck I have to catch her just to get it back;) Hugs Cheryl & Lexi:aimeeyork |
I think a yorkie can do it. My does it but not too good at it but check out this video |
I love that, thats so neat the way he caught the frisbee. I guess it can be done. |
Lucy has a small soft rubber frisbee, and she catches it very well indeed - although you don't always get it straight back, as she then expects you to chase her to retrieve it! |
How do you get them to go after it? LOL |
Well, looks like Uni's got some work cut out for her! Our fabric frisbee doesn't fly that well though... |
I think you can get them to do just about anything but most Yorkies are not great jumpers and because of their leg problems I wouldn't suggest it much My Zach LOVES fetching his little soft pillow frisbee  |
Meg has shown NO interest in frisbees, adn I've bought her small hard and small soft (rope/nylon) frisbees. :( Ah well! |
Hazel loves to fetch for frisbees (discs for disc golf.....looks very similar to a frisbee). She didn't like it at first, but this summer, she's been crazy for them. When we don't throw it...she'll let us know that she still wants to play even though she looks so tired! |
