I did buy one. I have now changed from wee wee pads to newspaper. It is good because if the ink rubs off it is not on your floor and the wet does not soak through. Tauni |
wow, great idea with newspapers... i could save lots of money.... |
I got one at Petco yesterday and its Pink wish they would have had two. Carol and Minnie |

PINK??? WHAT?? really ?? wow ive never seen a thing |
Not exactly a holder, more of a floor protector. I used to use the rubberized flannel infant crib pads under wee-wee pads to protect the floor. They will absorb some "overages". Also, what I use now to protect the floor is a large washing machine tray (from Home Depot) I just lay the pads on it and it gives the pups a larger area. For training, when I had a puppy pad shredder, I used this one from Drs Foster and Smith--it was way better for holding down pads than the Petsmart or Petco ones were: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...&N=2001+113858 |

OHHHHHHHH i really like that one ... hte petco one you have to disassemble it everytime.. take the top portion which is sectioned off in 4 this one u just have to lift and snap close .. I WOULD GO WITH THAT ONE LEXI RAE :) |
the one at dr fosters for 14.99 right? does it have a bottom to the holder? |
That is the sameone I got at Petco and they only had the one but it was Pink should have ask if they were getting more. Carol and Minnie |
Yes, it does have a bottom, and the top snaps in very securely. It worked really well, my pad shredder never could get enough of a hold of the pad in his mouth to start shredding. |
im going to pet co tonight to check them out.. sorry to be a pest, but i want to get it right.... is it easy like 123 to insert the wee pad and snap? |
The very secure one is from Drs Foster and Smith. (see previous post). I found it works the best and is easier to use than the sectioned ones from Pet smart or Petco http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...&N=2001+113858 |

yes i would agree with 3puppies4me Lexi Rae... believe me its a pain in the ass to change the pad b/c of all the sections .. im really considering getting the Drsforstersmith.. |
thankyou everyone you have helped me alot as usual... i will order 2 tomorrow from dr fosters... i just love this place...i always get the answers i need.. |
np :) let me know how u like :) ;) |
yes i definetly will, i should get my order next week. |
went to petco last nite just to check the pad holder out.. they had 1 left for 16.99 so i grabbed it.. it snapped at both ends, pretty easy.. when i got home and put a pad in in, it was not laying flat, it was warped on both sides... lexi already did her business in it so thats a plus.. im returning it tonight and hopefully they will have more...its just like the one from dr fosters, but has a blue rim around it... |

I think this washing machine tray is a great idea! Can you give me an idea of price for those? I know it will probably be different for me but if I had an idea of cost, it would be great. Thanks |
You might be able to find a nice boot tray that would work too. We had one we were using under my older two's food and water bowls. But it was getting old and we recently got rid of it. Once I started with the pee pads for the puppies, I said I wish I had that boot tray back now! I will be on the look out or order that nice one from Dr. Foster's. |
1 Attachment(s) Here is pic of Josie's. I got it at petco. |
I put the pee pads in a kitty litter boxes from Dollar General. They cost $2.50 each! I will be cheap on some things for my dogs, but not everything. This is one of the things I went cheap on after I saw some of those things at Petsmart were 23 bucks! I just cut the front out of the litter box to make it more accessable for her. Keeps all the pee in one spot! And easy to wash out if necessary. |
