crate training/crate size hey all so I decided when I get my little boy I am going to strictly outside potty train, and crate train for his "safe space" and so he can be in there if we have to leave him. My question is, I was looking at crates the other day and there was one that was 9" tall and it said it was for cats, yorkies, ect. There was also a 10.5" tall one that had breeds listed a little bigger than yorkies. I know the crate is supposed to act as a den and be small enough so they dont want to potty in it, but i'm scared the 9" would be too small? One and a half inches obviously isn't a huge differece but what do you all think??? I'm worried he will grow out of the 9" or at least it will be too small once he is full grown, what sizes do you all have? Thanks in advance!! |
Personally, I would go for the taller one. As long as it's only the height measurement that's different. I like the taller crates that leave them a bit of "head room". :p |
