Peeing in house
 
I am not sure if this is a behavioural thing or what but 2x now, Hot Rod has come in from his walk and peed on the floor! It happen Mon morning, I thought it was because he hadn't peed outside and couldn't wait until he got back to use the pad. But then he did it this morning too! and I totally believe it was on purpose this time. He peed as soon as we got outside this morning so that's why I think it was on purpose. Is it behaviour or something I should be worried about medically? Thanks.

My girlfriend's is doing the same thing... The only thing I know to do when he does it is be more strict with him than she is.

My Tink does that too - even after she's been let outside she'll still waltz in and do this huge pee right inside the doorway!!! She'll often do it in mornings even though I get up at God knows what time to let her out. She knows she's done wrong because she'll be nowhere to be seen - or rather, hiding under the chair upstairs curled over with her ears back, slightly shaking (she is wayyy over-sensitive)! xXx

Something is in the doggy air this week! My Ginger has done that twice this week too. We just came in from outside - once she peed and the other she pooped!! What in the world? I hope someone has a helpful suggestion! :eek:

Hmmm, can't wait to see if someone can come up with something about this. Hot Rod is usually really good about pottying. This is really surprising that he is doing this.

If its an abrubt change from the way he usually is he may need to be checked for a UTI

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for that. I'm thinking it might not be that though since he only done it 2x. One time on Monday, then Thurs. Although he has been going a lot it seems...fortunately on the pad other those 2 instances.

To make a long story short, we did keep an eye on Hot Rod and turns out that he does have some crystals. We got meds for him and the vet gave us a course of treatment to watch for and follow.

Just wanted to say Thanks for your input! I would have probably not even thought to keep an eye on this otherwise. :)
