Seven weeks is way too young to bring a yorkie home. Hope all goes well for you but the breeder should of let your puppy go at twelve weeks or more. Susan |

A new OP (arlene Baker) made a comment on 1/19/2018 #17 read from there and you will see why this pup was gotten at a young age. |
Rather funny now I was getting all this advice on how I was suppose to deal with taking a puppy so young but she is doing amazing, and now I see the one giving all the great advice is having problems Good Luck my Lucy is going in her little carrying case and doing great she is 9 weeks old now :) |

separation Anxiety well I do not understand that separation anxiety thing as my sister keeps telling me to quit giving Lucy so much attention that she will get that ,now you are saying it is from taking her from her mother to soon,I will have to read up on that,as I do not want to see Lucy go thru that . My niece adopted a border collie that had that but when my niece would leave in in the car for 5 minutes she tore the inside of the car up, in that short of a time she did huge amount of damage, while my niece was at work, she loves animals and was really trying to help this one, but she just couldn't keep her very sad, and she was a vet tech at the time  |

Thanks I love hearing things about yorkies so any info is important to me. I have never had a yorkie before , I am not sure what kind of breeder I got my yorkie from really, I just know the dad was a yorkie and the mama was a cute yorkie, I know she loves animals and that she kept her mama well groomed, by the groomer. The one thing I did notice was the house was not that clean and they were still in a swimming pool that was not that clean. I was very glad that I could get Lucy as soon as she called me. she told me they were already weaned and were eating good on there own' When I brought Lucy home she was so happy to have her own little bed and her clean little place . she never cried at all for her mama and siblings, and I am very impressed at how smart she is so I think she will be o.k. sorry if I came across nasty, but I was catching so much fuss about how old she was when I brought her home:) we are in our seventy's and was not going to get another dog after our sweet Gracie died in May, but oh so glad my niece found this little one for us,she is the sweetest, fiesty bundle of energy! |

Oh Boy! What a dysfunctional breeder breeding a four pound yorkie. I hope you spay your little baby and learned some stuff about purchasing a yorkie. On the last post she recommended buying insurance and I think it would be wise for you to buy it. Well best wishes with your yorkie ! Susan |
