help...6 months and just started barking at night peanut never barked at night...it stopped like within the 2 weeks after we got her. shes 6 months now and has decided to start barking at 5 am every morning. we get up for work at 630 on weekdays. any suggestions on how to get it to stop? she doesnt really sleep as much during the day so i dont get why she wont sleep through the night |
Help TOO~ My puppy Trixie is only 12 weeks old and gets up every 3-4 hours and will bark until we take her potty which is FINE, but then wants to play and will continue to bark and wake the whole house for more than 1/2 hour. HELP, we are getting exhausted! We crate her at night and try to put her in a somewhat soundproof room as told by the wonderful pet store owner by our house. She told us that we should ignore the barking, but after 15 minutes we just can't! I need suggestions! Also, she is potty trained for "number 1" but not "number 2" yet. |
we wee-wee pad trained peanut...shes almost has it.. and we gate her in our kitchen so if she wants to get up..which they often do and eat or play in her area thats fine....the wee wee pads help too that you wont have to walk her during the night..or i work during the day and theres no way she would make it that long |
i am so glad i read this post, our 6 month old puppy Gracie just started doing the same thing at night, almost every 2-3 hours she would continue to bark no stop, keeping the whole family up. She never did that before only when we first got her. We have even got up with her and taken her out only to discover a tiny little drop of pee. We decided to move the crate into the basement to let her bark so we dont have to listen to it. My poor cat now has to put up with her barking now. I hope a couple of nights and we can move the crate back upstairs again. :aimeeyorkGracie. |
HI, I have crate trained all mine :) We just added a new babie who will be 7mths tomarrow , where do you have her crate located ? I always put them in my room with me for the first week or so, they get to know one voice, I shhh them when they start whinning or barking, he did this for the first 2 nights, now he is out in the living room with the rest of my crew :) we are also very early riser, between 5-6 every morning, They get to know the routine quite fast ;) the main thing is not to give into them when there fussing good luck, I hope you get some rest :) |
i have the same problem. i need to put the crate in the bedroom. romeo likes to bark @ squirrels in the early am. |
