Belly Band Issue Romeo has been wearing belly bands at his Grandmothers house for years. She dog sits him while I work. He has to wear a belly band because he likes to mark around her male dog. Recently he started to pee and soon as you take the band off. I had him standing on the kitchen island and took it off and he started to pee. This is something he never did before , but frequently does now. What should I do? |
bump  |
well i can tell you this...Smokey wears them 24/7......we tried one day to go without the band...and he would pee and mark every where....so back on it went....so Smokey wears them no matter what...if he has been wearing them for more than 2 hours a day for years...chances are you will have to keep them on him 24/7..............but that's ok...at least with them on you dont have to worry about the walls, funiture, floor...etc.........good luck with what ever you decide to do |

Bogey & belly bands Bogey gets his belly band when I leave to go to work. I sometimes return 9 hrs later to a dry band. Other times it's a little wet. If someone shows up unexpected like the Fedex man then it's wet cause he got excited. The band saves me from having to search for pee spots that do or don't exsist. If anyone is home he doesn't pee inside, he holds it until he's let out. |
