Also, I didn't know that they go thru puppy, adolescent, adult stages and Sophie was doing so well with the basics , then, when she was about 1 yr old, she undid everything, to my frustration. when I learned she was rebelling or doing whatever, I had to be patient with myself to go back to the basics, not go forward. For me, a bit later , I found "Dogs for Dummies or Pupppies for Dummies " and wished that I had paid more attention to how smart YOrkies are. not too late, but I tend to get lazy because Sophie is so good as she is. What does your dog do that you have trouble with? Bye, Sandy : |
i'm not having major problems right now, just dont wanna start out wrong and have to undo anything. right now, zoe is 4 mo, and the word NO has no meaning to her, she chews on EVERYTHING, and giving her chew toys isnt helping, but we have only been together for a short time, but thanks for the info on the books, i will see if i can locate those, my library is very small, but will see what i can do. thank you so much |
