Poopy Dance
 
I have a 3 lb. ball of energy, but she does something I have never seen a dog do before.....a poopy dance. It has to be the funniest thing I have ever seen!!! When she has to poop she runs around frantic like she has no idea what is happening to her. She starts sprinting back and forth with this terrified look on her face. She goes on a puppy pad, but she doesn't just walk over to it and go. The pad is in the same spot it always is, but she still sprints around like a mad woman until the very las second. I mean you feel bad for her because she seems scared of pooping or something, but I can't help but get a kick out of it. I was curious to see if there was anyone else out there that has witnessed somehting like this before?

My yorkies go round and round looking for the perfect spot, too. Then, after they go, they do what we call "the potty dance". They kick and scratch at the ground, and keep doing it because we clap and encourage them! lol

That is hilarious what your pup does, LOL :D Schatzie doesn't do the dance but she seems to wait till the last moment when she can't hold it any longer than makes a mad dash to the potty pad. Being in a rush she seems to walk away off the pad prior to her finishing so at times she leaves little treasures behind her, then looks back and has the expression of "did I do that" :eek:

If she could just take sometime and slow down once in a while, ha hahaa

OTIS DOES the SAME THING!! It's so weird. He does it a TON of times througout the day, esp on carpet. And he can kick and scratch REALLY far, sometimes across the entire room until he bumps into something.

my moms dogs "tip toe" putside (they wont go if you are lookign at them) and do circles......... my toby puts his two front paws on teh wall and stands against the wall to do his number two, i think he was a convict in another life, obvisouly someone who was arrested and knoes the drill.......lol

That's funny that you call it the poopy dance, because that's what I call it too! Hercules has a pee pad in a box outside and he walks back and forth a few times before he finds the right spot, doing the poopy dance too!

Demi doesn't like people to watch her do number two either! If you look at her when she is pooping she will stand up and walk away and pretend like she wasn't pooping...sometimes she drags the poop with her though!! She is funny about going potty...she only will do number one outside, she poos on pads inside.

My Gucci is funny about pooping also, she doesnt like when people looks at her. She will stop and run away. Lately she haven't being pooping on the wee -wee pad, she is being hiding under the bed or table.

LOLL :D

We have our daughter's 12 year old chihuahua and she run like the devil is behind her, then circles and walk/poops. Does not poop in one place. Got to spread it around. Good thing she goes outside. ;) She acts like she is fixin' to poop the "grande poopy"

The yorkies just do the poopy dance at the end. scratchin' and scratchin' Waya is so little, he tends to push himself and jump on his scratches.

My Gracie would make on the poop dancer chorus line as well, first she whines, then barks, then dances.........you get 3 chances to take her out or she "performs" the closing act in the house..........she's a riot.............

Hi! I am new to this site!! Love it :) !! My 4 Month old boy Luigi Does a funny thing too when he poos!! If I look at him while he is going, He starts to walk, but at the same time, the poo is already on its way out, so Luigi's front laegs are walking, but his hind legs are still in poo position. So its kind of like he is dragging his hind legs with his front legs, all while he is pooing, just because I happened to look at him!!! I have only had him a month, but I have never seen a pup so stubburn and have quite an attitude!!!!
