potty nightmares hi am currently trying to train my 16 week old stella she goes into the garden poos and wees and then comes back in and does the same in the kitchen and front room I cant figure out what she has adopted as her area!!!!! so we have tried puppy mats paper she does go on the paper but i just dont know from day to day where she will decide to do it. also she has now started pooing in her crate which is a slight concern any help would be truely valuable. when I was training louis he had all my attention and was quick to learn but stella is dealing with a baby, louis and not my 100% attention i dont want to rehome her but it is getting to that point? please help liz |
I feel your pain. I have an 18 week old who does the same thing. Most of the time she will go on paper, but occasionally for no reason she will just go wherever she pleases. I am frustrated too, but I have heard that until they are six months that they really aren't going to be 100% trained. Hopefully some experienced YT's will tell us if thats true! |
yes it is frustrating when I was training louis i had all the time in the world to watch his every move i wonder if this is why she is as she is |
I know what you mean. It is so easy to get distracted for just a minute and then that is when they sneak and do it. I probably should try leashing her to me when I can't watch her every move, but with my luck I'll blink and she'll go!! LOL |
there is some good advice in the other forum...go to the general yorkie dis. and you'll find some great info! :aimeeyork |
