Layla needs a TIME OUT
 
Layla is being a pill.. she wants her Kong. but she has alreayd had it today and can't have it again until my mom gets home (she is the one that gives it to her) but she is being relentless and won't listen to anything i say.. she is just focused on the kong.... what do you do for time out? I want to put her in her crate but i don't want her to think of it has punishment but she definitly needs to go somewhere and stop pawing at my leg!!

Good luck with that. TJ is relentless when he wants something. That is one of the reasons we love them. Try distracting your baby with another toy... or a good walk. That sometimes helps with mine.

lol she definitly is stubborn! she has to interest in any other toy.. even her FAVORITE soccer ball and it is far too hot here for a walk :( or i'd LOVE to take her on one and WEAR HER OUT! we are supposed to be getting cooler weather this coming week... i sure hope we are able to resume our daily walks!

Wish I had an answer for that one... but it is too cute. She's waiting on Grandma. They always give it. I know you aren't to use the crates for punishment, just tell her she had to take a nap in her crate...lol:)

lol.. i DID tell her that :p and she is just laying in there snoozing..every once and a while she glances my way.. i try not to make eye contact :p it breaks my heart! grandma should be home soon!

Today is the first cooler day we have had in a few days. Our temps were right at or over 100 off and on the last couple of weeks. Did you get her distracted? Aren't they such little pills once in a while? :) How about giving her a bath? I love the way they react after they have had a wonderful bath. They strut around.. they know they are pretty.

I like bathing my Leo. Afterward, he tries to roll around as if he is outside in the grass. :) It is funny.
They all are determined to get their way I think. Leo waits every morning for his treat and will sit at my feet as I pour the morning mug of coffee until he gets that treat. :aimeeyork Have to love them.

We put Maya in her Crate for a Time-out .... and she understands why she is in it ..... most off the time we tell her to go in it and she just lays down with the door open ..... and pouts .... and some other time we have to tell her 10 times to go back in it cause she was a naughty girl ... :D

Does Grandma supply the Kong with goodies? Sure sounds like she does for Layla to be so excited for it!! Did she end up getting her Kong later?;)

Yes Grandma gives the Kong... Layla is having a bit of a hard time wrapping her head around that... lol.... but she did get it last night :p
