Have you indoor trained? I'm indoor training my 13 week puppy JayDee, and as I mentioned before he was having some problems and everybody that posted made me feel much better about his "bad" days, thank you, but I also feel like it is partly my fault. That maybe I'm not being clear enough to him. I've read multiple books and web sites but I feel like none of them have been clear about okay this is exactly how you do indoor training. If anybody can give me tips on how to do this that would be really great. Also, does anybody have feelings about puppy pads versus litter, I'm using puppy pads but he really likes to go outside (my luck) so I was thinking he might like the litter better. Any suggestions? :animal36 |
i had toby on puppy pads inside....... he was okay at it, but then i got sick of teh "misses" and i booted the pad out on the balcony..... now he is 100% trained........ at my moms house he goes outside (he really doesnt care where he goes as long as he knows which spot is his.......lol) There is no cut and dry way to train...... there are guidlines, but i think it varies from dog to dog, the one thing that is universal is lots of praise and treats :p.... good luck! |
i tried the litter box and all my babies ate the paper that is the litter, so they use the pads, i use the ones u can wash, and also the dispsable ones |
