How to stop a Pee pad shredder My puppies shred their pee pads. I went to Pet Smart and bought a holder (you put the pad between this plastic frame) and they still pulled it out and shredded it. We had a tarp with a x-pen on it and if they had an accident they usually went on that. I don't want to look at the tarp anymore and have removed it, but I do want something for them to use. Any suggestions? |
I have used the "washable ones" because Lily would shred newspaper and pads both!! She will pee on the washable ones some but she mostly is going outside!! She can't tear them up anyhow!!lol |
Washable, reusable pee pads. I got mine from Valethics.com but several of the members on here make them and sell. It's better for the environment, more cost effective, and they can't shred them! |
Publix carries disposable puppy pads that are really strong and durable or you could go with washable puppy pads. |
I make them!! You can get washable pads from me! Check out the link in my signature. |
I got mine from Blue Sky Yorkie and they are GREAT!! I will order more when I am ready to go and have them in both places!! I was very happy with them!! |
Definitely go with the washable ones. In the long run it's more cost effective all around and will make your life sooo much easier. |
Getting washable ones are a great idea. I thought the pee pad holder would do the trick but it lasted about 15 minutes before they figured out how to get the pad out. I am so tired of picking up little pieces all over the house. It's just as bad as when we forget to shut the bathroom door and the toilet paper gets shredded. There is a lot to be said for having an older pet. Marley is only 5 months old so I have a long way to go. Marley has also started on the underwear. He has learned to pull them through the holes in the laundry basket. |
i use a pee pad holder, try it , it might just work.. |
