Help--biting At Kids.... My 1 Yr Old Yorkie Goes Crazy Around Kids And Tries To Bite Them, I Don't Know What To Do. She Barks And Then Attacks Them...what Do I Do |
Lots of yorkies are afraid of kids... That is why they bark. My 2 littest ones bark if kids run up to them. They don't bite, but they sure sound loud. They are trying to scare them away from them. |
Welcome to YT, You will find so much useful information here. I can't give you any help. Murfee does that sometimes when kids run. He nips at their ankles and if kids get too much in his face he will try to nip. I am interested in hearing what advice you get. |
Mine will bark at kids also.. but do not bite at them... you need to work on trying to stop this if you can... anne |
Your Yorkie is probably nervous of them..and rightly so! children can accidentally injure a small dog..and i think they can sense this so are naturally wary of children...is there a reason your dog is so nervous around children? My sisters 4 month old King Charles spaniel has become aggressive around her two younger children (3 and 8 years) because they continuously annoy the poor dog..waking it when asleep and constantly picking the poor thing up so it was growl and snap..it is the only way the poor animal can tell them to 'BACK OFF'!;) |
