ribbon winning Dixie Dog 1 Attachment(s) I can't resist telling y'all! At a recent agility ribbon trial Dixie won a ribbon!! Ok so it was 5th place and there were only 6 dogs -- but still!! There isn't even a competitive classes for wee dogs in this country and she was competing against full size dogs! look how proud she is in the picture! Anyhoo I better go cook some dinner and do some training if Dixie's ever gonna get a first! |
Dixie! You are an absolute rock star! A ribbon against the big dogs?! That is incredible. Eddie is both jealous and in love. Congratulations, but don't rub in your success too much around your brother Dougal. Great picture too. |
Way to go, Dixie!! She does look proud in the picture. :) |
I'm so inordinately proud of my teeny tiny dog. Tomorrow is another agility trial. I'll keep you updated. I'll be happy if she goes clear. although she usually gets a few time faults. She likes to get things right so does them slowly when she's unsure. Dougal will be on rest because of a strained muscle. Poor fella. |
Go Dixie! Go Dixie! Go Dixie! |
:thumbup: Good job, Dixie!! We are all proud of you. Just keep remembering ... Little doesn't mean you can't! My Toto is faster than any big dog I have ever seen! :p |
WTG DIXIE!!! we're Proud of ya!!!!:) |
We managed to squeeze our run in just before it bucketed down! Dixie was quite slow. Except when I did a front cross (that's when you do some fancy footwork in front of your dog to get to the other side of the dog) and she was all of a sudden like "zoooooom" because she knew exactly what I wanted. (I've been practising the front cross to death! LOL She got 5 faults for refusing on the chute. It was totally handler error! I didn't check she was committed to the chute before I ran on. We did the run in a little over 80 seconds. (most other dogs were doing it in around 38 seconds!! LULZ) But they're now officially measured. Dixie's 25.5cm and Dougal's 27.5cm. Dougal looks so much bigger than Dixie but it just goes to show he's actually 80% fluff! |
