when i was at petsmart the lady working there was telling me about what she has trained puppies to do in the past..i think the cutest is for a puppy to put their paws together like they are praying and bow their head!! LOL! :D i need to have my lil girl trained to do that! it would be so adorable!!

my lab rusty does that. its so cute. if u want u can PM me or something and i can tell you how to train them to do it

Megan~ I am so impressed with your skills as a trainer! You should be the female Dog Whisperer! You go girl. Maybe you catch Rusty praying on video. :)

A doggie praying, That is so cute. Megan That is a very good idea. You should teach us how to train our babies. The female dog whisperer that is cute.

ok i'll just tell you all here its actually very simple. take a chair for bigger dogs or a book or something for a smaller dog. have them put their front feet up on it praise them right away. make sure they keep their feet on the object. put one hand under their leg and inbetween their paws. with the other hand show them the treat. drop it into the hand thats between their paws. as soon as they put their nose down to sniff praise them. i know it probably sounds really confusing i'll take a video of it tomorrow and show you what i mean. good luck!!!

My sons dog can do that , It took him one day to learn. We did about the same in training , But we would have him stand then take the treat down to then floor and he would like put his head down to get it we would stand him again and pull his legs out in front of him some then say down he finally cought on and yes its a very cute trick.

That's funny that you say that because I jsut told my bf that I wanted to teach Deegan to do that too today! It is too cute for sure! Let me know how it works out, I wouldn't even know how to begin teaching that one. Good luck!
