6 months and trained BUT. peanut is 6 months old and has been potty trained for quite a while now. she goes outside about every hour or hour and a half. when we are gone, we put her in her playpen and she doesn't have an accident for as long as 6 hours. she was spayed about 3 weeks ago. for the last week or two, she has been peeing more frequently in the house. she prefers to pee on the rug by the door... even after being outside within the hour. any advice to help curb this behavior? do you think it could be related to her spay? |
There is a slight possibility it could be related to her spay. Spaying can sometimes increase the probability of incontinence. Also she could have a urinary tract infection. I would check with the vet to rule this out. Sorry you are having such troubles. I know how frustrating that can be. |

I hope that's all it is. Let us know if it makes a difference. |

I realize that your baby's problems may have physical roots but I do have a suggestion for cleaning up piddle. I know that if my boys use a rug, that I have to spray the spot with an enzyme cleaner or they go back to the same rug even after I wash it. |
