Try cleaning the spot thourougly so your pup can't smell the scent of it so she won't return to the same spot = ) |
. even though its plastic? can i use vinegar and water mixture. would that work? |
Get the strongest smelling Vinigar you can find,i think it would be the Malt Vinegar, someone told me you can buy something @ Petsmart, you spray it on & they wont go near that spot  I am going to go check it out today :D |
Warm water and white vinegar should do the trick. At least that's been my experience. If you want to move the location of the pee pad from where the baby is used to using it, you have to move it towards your final destination a little bit at a time. I move mine out of my kitchen and down a short hallway to a 1/2 bathroom we have and that took months. Good luck! |
. her final destination is the bathroom of course but she has a long way to go. my bathroom is about 15 feet down the hall from the living room where she stays with a gate... oh boy am i in trouble with this one |
. Oh Boy, My Mom Went To The House To Check On Her And Quess What ? Pee Pee Where The Pad Used To Be... She Said She Cleaned It Very Good....im So Confused.. |
I used straight vinegar on my carpets. I soak it up with paper towles then spray the spot really well with just plain white vinegar. This weekened I asked several people that came over if our house smelled and all said no(I'm still waiting on my steam cleaner to be fixed so I can go over the entire house one good last time). With the plastic I might just take a cloth and wet it with vinegar and wipe over the spot and just let it dry. Then like YorkiesRule said I would move the one pad a little at a time. I would try maybe a foot a day at first and then more or less after that depending on how she's doing. |
Someone I talked to suggested moving his water and food to that location after it is clean and dry. She said he would not go where he eats. I don't know if it works or not harley's mom |
