Grrrr...the cat! Any suggestions on how to get Parker and the cat to chill out with each other??? I'm totally stumped!!! |
Welcome to yt. Maybe just give them time. One of our inside cats doesn't like Murfee and one of them gets along ok. Mostly the outside cats just ignore him but if they start to run he ALWAYS chases them. good luck |
It takes time, they come to terms with their own rules with each other themselves. |
3 Attachment(s) I have two cats. Ozzie, shown here with Milo, I knew would grow to love the dog because he acts more dog than cat like. The other cat, Ichy----wants absolutely nothing to do with Milo still. It's be a year this March. |
Welcome to YT :D I'd love to see the feedback you get...due to the fact that we've been thinking about getting a cat buddy for Meka....and wondering how they will interact. Has anyone gotten the cat after the dog? And how do you introduce the two? |
I think it depends on their personalities. I'm sure in time they'll figure out who's the alpha. |

I got kittens after having a dog. Aggie decided she was their mother. She loved her kitty babies and the kittens didn't seem to mind. Now she loved HER kittens, but any other cat....NO....those she still had to chase and bark. I have 3 cats now....one will play with Ramsey and Reese...but only if the other two cats aren't around to see it. |
Just give them some time and not force them together. April took some time to get to know Lulu. She didn't like her for quite a long time...lol. But eventually (about two months) she started coming to her to check her out on her own and then they became very good friends. Takes time but it will happen. |
