separation anxiety I spent lots of time with my new baby, but now whenever i leave the room, she whines until i come back. I will be leaving for school soon for a couple hours a day, but i really don't want her crying all day. Plus i dont want to make her said i want her to know this is her home. Any ideas? |
Hi and welcome to yt:) How old is your babie> its normal for them to cry at first, Are you crate training her, maybe if you put her in there through out the day on & off she may get better adjusted for when you have to leave her, my molly was like that at first and I put her crate in my room and left her for an hr at a time, good luck and congrats:) |
You can by a battery operated bear in the infant toy section of dept stores that makes sounds like a mothers womb. ( I can't remember the name of the bear). We had one for Shelby when she was little and it worked great. We put it in her bed with her and she snuggled with it. Of course when we got Seymour, he had his big sissy to hang out with so he didn't need it. :) Maybe it would help you, too! Good Luck! |
she is 16 weeks, I picked her up ffrom the breeder when she was 15 weeks. I am crate training her, and she does ok until I walk away then she cries and cries and barks until i come back. she is a very docile yorkie and will sleep if i dont try and play with her, even then sometimes she will still lay down. |
