Very stubborn about housebreaking My 2 yorkies, male & female 3 years & 9 mo. are sneaky and stubborn about letting me know when they need to go outside if I don't keep a bellyband/doggie panties on them they go in the next room to pee, I have put the string of bells on the door to get them used to hitting them when they need to go out ,one of the training methods I read about, its not working, they won't bark or hardly ever sctrach at the door. Any ideas? Dian ~:aimeeyork ~:aimeeyork |
Apollo will go on peepad and goes outside, Rosi is strictly outside and she never barks when she has to go, but she will come to me and sit up or just holds 1 leg up and and growns and makes these noises, soo cute ! I take them out every 2 hrs, if it rains they dont wanna go out as often ;) |
I can only suggest to watch for their signs. Murfee is trained to go outside. Sometimes he stands by the door but mostly he comes to get me. Good Luck. Have a very Merry Christmas |
I watch the clock! I take Chewy my one and a half year old out every 4 hours... He always goes.... |
Our 7 yr. old will hold it for 24 hrs if she has too. Try taking them out every 30 minutes for a while. Whe you let them out do the go right away or play around a little befor they go? Mine know the difference between outside and potty. When i say potty it mean go sniff, do the dirt and come back. Outside means go play. |
