Help!! My Bella keeps ripping apart her pee pad. Not just when we are away, but when we are home too! I say NO! I spray apple bitter all over it, but she keeps doing it. What can I do to stop her, she is potty trained for indoors! Any suggestions??? |
buy some washable pee pads...:) |
Humm I have read here that some members have try the washable pee pads maybe that will help. Sorry I couldn't help you more:animal-pa |
How old is Bella? Gracie went through a pad shredding phase. She grew out of it. I just tried to give her toys that were more interesting than the pee pad. I also used pee pad holders so they were not so easy to get a hold of. |

My little male use to do that, he out growed it. |
Mine outgrew it in about 2-3 months...i used to tape them down with thick tape. But the paper shredding never goes away. :) |
they sell pee pad holder trays...Ginger only does it occasionally, but only on the ones in her xpen.. |

I had the same problem with Georgia. She would shred it all up during the day and then the paper would stick to her hair. It was so gross. I switched to the washable pads from Petco and they work great! I still put it in the holder so she doesn't drag it around, though! I only have one right now and wash it every couple of days. I think i'm going to get another, though. They're about $20 I think. |

I think the washable pee pads would help you out a lot. |

Also a great way to train is use a heavy metal pan and a spoon, bang the spoon to the pan and say "NO" the loud sound usually stops them dead in there tracks. |

I had the same trouble with Ava. She would pull the cotton center out. I bought a different brand that the center wasn't as fluffy and she stopped. |
Try buying a frame for the weewee pads! I had to do that for Jasper when he was 4 months old.He went through a very rambonxious stage. After 2 wweks he was fine whether the pads were in the frame or not. Good luck! Dont worry. |
Welcome to YT!! |
they have pad holders, they are like a plastic tray that they fit in. |
