Good News!! No More Marking after Nuetering A few months ago I took my sweet innocent Max on a walk with my friends yorkie Romeo.. Well Romeo has some bad habits, like marking every 5 feet and lifting his leg to every & anything!! So on that walk my sweet baby just watched Romeo and Max only sqatted once when he needed to pee.. The very next day Max lifted his leg, I thought it was cute at 1st, like my baby was being a big boy cute.. But then he started lifting just like Romeo and marking everything!!! I had to resort to Belly Bands and tried to train him out of marking with NO LUCK... Well.. The Good News is!!! I had Max neutered 2 weeks ago and he no longer marks! Last night we went on a walk for about 1 hour and he didnt mark a single thing! He went pee once but that was it.. I am so relieved he stopped his bad habit after his neutering, I was a little afraid it was too late, I am so happy it wasnt |
I hope that he continues to do well. Now, on the other end of the spectrum, my friend got her first yorkie neutered. Magoo is 3+ yr now...I think...and he still marks everything in her house. He even hiked his leg up and peed on another dog yesterday. |
That is really good news..and it did not take long at all. |
That's great! I hope he continues to do well. |
Bailey marked (inside 2x) then got fixed,,, but still marks EVERYTHING outside..but NOT inside, which is all I care about! He can go wild outside! |
Jennette - I am so happy for you!! Max was just led astray by Romeo ....!! Bet you are really pleased. Ana xx :aimeeyork |
Maxx Go Maxx! ;) |
My Gus was neutered when he was almost seven months old. I did it early because of that very reason. I wanted to put a stop to it before it even began. He's now a year and 3 months and he will leave his marks outside. He wont do it in the house He's never peed on someone or another dog just on trees, polls and grass. |
marking every thing and everwhere. my Nemo is 1 and 5 month. he is getting fixed in 2 days. i only had him for few weeks. i hope it is not to late. |
Getting Fixed Let me know if getting him fixed helps! |
WAY to go Max ~ Jenette I know how happy you are for this...What a good boy he is - Glad he stopped it....but this could be the end of funny pee stories for Max :D |

I am hoping that Deegan doesn't start any of that stuff. I plan to get him neutered in about 5-6 weeks. I hope he can hold off, so that he doesn't do it after. I've heard that sometimes they continue to mark even afterwards. |
Im glad that Max is not marking anymore after being neuter. I hope it works for the other also. |
