| Toys to keep them occupied! I love Spike dearly, but sometimes I wish I had a toy for him that would keep him busy while I do chores, watch TV, etc., so that he doesn't always try to get my attention! I have a Kong for him, which I put his favorite treat into (Pup-peroni), which he plays with for a minute or so, and then he's right back to playing with me! I've heard that peanut butter works really well, but I got the same result - he played with it for a minute or so, and then he left it alone. I've also tried the Rollover meat as well. Does anyone have any recommendations for an irresistible toy or Kong filler to keep my little guy occupied for more than five minutes?!?!?!? |

| I usually fill the kong with Cheerios or Kix and 'seal' it off with peanut butter,, then I pop it in the freezer till its frozen...I do it once a day, everyday....it gives me a break once she starts working on it.. It may take him a while to know its a treat..but you kinda have to 'enticed' him with it and make it seem like a wonderful thing..then he'll be curious and 'have' to have it..lol. arent they soo weird sometimes?!

| oh and if that doesnt work, I have this great clear bone toy thing that have little ''rope'' things on it..Daisy tends to like that alot since I added/tied my husband's old shoelaces on it keeps her mighty busy..in fact shes working on it right now. of course you should cut the shoelaces after tied to a toy so that its not long enough to get her tangled in!

| Whenever I want a bit of peace and quiet I give Tia her Everlasting Treat Ball (the smallest size they make). It bounces and rolls and sure is tasty to her! I don't give it to her often so it stays "special". I found one at Super Pet (I'm in Canada) and the small size was $17.99 and came with 1 treat (you need 2)...so I bought the refills.....2 treats for $4.99. Bully sticks will also keep her occupied for a while.....but only if she's in the mood to work on one. Hope you find something that works...and please share with us if it's something we haven't thought of!

| Aubrey didn't like the Kong toy, he just chewed it down to where he couldn't reach the treat anymore. So maybe he would like the cheerios idea, so you just put cheerios in there, and then freeze it? |

My Lil Man! Donating Member | The kongs are great and also I usually give my baby a Bully Stick to chew on while Im cleaning house or studying. That way he doesnt get any negative vibes from me trying to clean and not paying him any attention because he is more interested in this treat he only gets during those times. I call it his quiettime treat. Lol. |
