How many toys does your baby (or babies!) have? I am too embarrassed to say...:p My little guy is sooooo spoiled :wub: I'm buying him a Toy Box online right now, lol. I am just curious to see if I am the only whacko here that goes nuts with the toys for their babies or what :p My hubby thinks I am insane! lol |
Well you are not the only Wacko on here, & tell your husband that if your insane so I am..:rolleyes: Maybe they should change this to insanetalk....lol You just love your babies...I lost count of all the toys & bones, I have 3 so you can imagine...I have little custom toy boxes for mine too....:D Max my gsd stays outside most of the time & when I go to mow the backyard it takes me about 15 minutes to find all the toys so I want run over them....:) |
How many toys do they have??? Too many!!! I lost track a long time ago. They are always getting new toys. When I go on a road trip with them I have to take atleast two bags full of toys, of course that is only a small fraction of how many they got. Lets just say that they have plenty of toys that could last them a life time.:D |
:eek: It's so funny that you posted that question! Patrick just said to me last night ..... "I was straightening up around the house and picking up toys. Do you know that Toto has three baskets of toys?" What could I say but, "She requires a lot". I bet it hasn't dawned on him that she also has duplicates of her favorite toys at our home in Alabama and in the motorhome!!! People don't understand that Yorkies get tired of toys. They have to have lots to choose from. |
We have plenty of toys for our four, but our oldest just seems to destroy them. I'm tired of spending good money just to have them destroyed by the end of the day. Anthing with a squeaker, she will try to get it out. About the only thing I can let her play with is a ball and rope. I feel bad for her while the others are playing with everything you can imagine. |

Mia has 3 boxes of toys too. I am afraid to count. Everytime we go to a petstore we get one new toy at the least. We keep rotating the toys she plays with so she doesn't lose interest. She is also teething, so she has a bag full of chewing toys and bones. She is truly my baby. Good thing I don't plan on having a human baby any time soon :) |

Kona and "Puppy Doe" have so many toys! I've only had Kona for 3 months but we sure have racked up a lot of toys. I still have some that I haven't given them yet. Whenever I see a good deal I buy a bunch. Gotta keep a good stock going. |
My two actually don't have that many toys. Every single toy I buy, they tear up!!! So, I am down to Kongs. They have 2 Kongs and several bones, and that is about all they play with! They would rather play with each other than toys anyway. I guess I'm kinda lucky in that respect :rolleyes: |
Toys, toys EVERYWHERE! Well all these posts make me feel so much better. It's nice to know that I am not alone on this issue. And surprisingly, after reading these post, I don't feel as crazy as my hubby makes me think I am lol! I have had Stedman for 3 months and he is ALREADY up to 19 different toys (I counted yesterday as I was picking them all up lol). And I know that there will be lots more where that came from as I already have more toys to buy on my list (was looking online the other day..hah!) Time for a toy box! :p |

Let me just say that Sissy has enough that I just purchased a storage ottoman from Target, so that I can at least get them out of site when she is not playing. We'll see how that goes, cause she likes to have them ALL out at once!! |
toys! well lets see, lexi has a crate filled, and about 15 more that wont fit into the crate on the floor in her room,, she has her own room so she goes and gets what she wants.. yes her own room with her own dresser and her own shelves with just all her stuff in it... |
did someone say toys? I have a wicker clothes basket for all my boys toys. Luckily, they love the ones that wal-mart has for $0.97. I Little orange bones and yellow and green donuts. I counted 5 orange bones the other night in various degrees of usage. From "brand new" to "only a few more days before throw away". My 2 year old yorkie doesn't play with them very much but my 1 year old shih tzu-poo ALWAYS has a toy in his mouth. It makes me laugh because people always think he wants them to throw it for him to fetch. He doesn't mind playing fetch but really he just wants to always have a toy in his mouth. It's so cute!! |

Tilly only has a few toys. When we first got her we kept buying her toys but she never was interested. So we had to buy her treats and outfits instead. |
Rose has so many I dont want to even count them. I love buying things for her. |

lexi has tons of toy sit isn't even funny, i refuse to buy her toys now when we go to the store bc i am so tired of picking them all up. If i remember correctly when i first joined yt there was a poll to how may toys does your yorkie own, at that time i think we were in the 20 or less catagory....we have way passed that mark, it is so sad. |
I am not sure. Some day we when we did up the back yard I am sure that we will find lots. They just disappear. She only keeps about three were we can see. She hides the rest in the yard. When she wants to play with one, she goes out and digs it up. Makes a mess. |
Mojo has TONS of toys! He has a chest full in the living room and one in the bedroom, plus in my closet. Then we have others stored in my closet - we rotate them every now and then for a "new" variety. We are always picking up something, somewhere! He would rather have toys than a treat or chewie! |
Jaxon has a toy box I got from Pet Edge that is really nice. He doesn't really play with anything except his Beanie Baby-Yapper the Yorkie. He will carry it around & when he is tired he lays down & sucks on the tail like a pacifier. Since this TY Beanie is retired, we are always searching for more. He actually has 4 of them, but 2 are leaking beans. Many people comment on how they have never seen a dog suck on the tail like this!! I gave all the toys that he doesn't play with to friends dogs. |
Molly and Sandy have a toy box that is the size of a crib and gets around 40 new toys every xmas and i donate the old unused ones to the human society for there pups to play with. Judy |
